Today
was another day to "ride the Demo bikes", and Norm, Kay, and I
did it with gusto. Norm and Kay picked two bikes on which she could
ride as a passenger, and Norm also rode one alone. Deane picked
mostly "Cruisers", riding four bikes. The rides are about
15 to 25 miles long, and the process of signing up takes quite a little
time waiting in line, so one can't ride too many different bikes in a
day. But it's a lot of fun, and one gets a feel for different
manufacturers and different styles of bikes.
All
in all, Deane rode eight bikes at the rally, mixed between Cruisers, Sport
Bikes, and Sport Touring bikes. Norm rode six bikes, mixed between
Cruisers, Sport Bikes, and Touring bikes. Kay rode four with
Norm. So we all had fun.
We also shopped for accessories again, until we'd had our fill.
Now it's time for Deane and Norm to pack up and move on - we will just
wander on our motorcycles in the Smokey Mountains and the lower Appalachian
Mountains for a few days. Kay goes back home to go to work.
(Deane and Norm don't have time to work.)
